Ari Meyers was born on April 6, 1969 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Her real first name is Ariadne, which is pronounced (AR-E-AD-NEE).   In Greek Mythology, Ariadne was the daughter of Minos and Pasiphae who gave Theseus the thread with which to find his way out of the Minotaur's labyrinth.  Ari was an honor student throughout her high school years.  In 1991, she graduated from Yale University with a double major of Philosophy and Theatre Arts.
